i work at secca (southeastern center for contemporary art)
and we are installing a great show that will be opening
friday the 15th. the show is called Homegrown: Southeast
and showcases excellent artists working and living in the
se us. i took these pictures today:
me dancing in front of jim welty's giant sculpture,
me in front of kirsten kindler's beautiful curtain of cut magazine pieces,
and then one of tanner passed out on my scanner.

hi! im not used to getting comments, so i never look at that part. but i was just looking at the pictures and noticed yours! neat. i would love to sell paintings through my website, but am not computer savvy enough to do it myself yet. until i get that to happen, i am willing to do commisioned pieces. i can send photos of the stages of the piece to make sure you are liking it. i will be posting new paintings on my blog regularly (once i finish rearranging my studio--this weekend, i hope!) so keep an eye out for things you might like there. i had never done those guys (the "i love you guys") before the fair but they were very fun. *_*laura
