thanks mary k!!

hooray! my website is back! i dont know what
happened, but thanks to maryk, everything is
back to normal.

i have spent the last 2 weeks working on a sign
for Krankies coffee shop, and i am nearly
finished. i cant wait to see it hanging up in there.

my friend mitsuyo is planning a craft fair for
february 25th, and i am hoping to have lots
of new stuff for that. i am working on 5 new
paintings at the moment.

meet Dash, the dog!

hooray!
it looks like we have an addition to our family!
another dog has decided he wants to live with
us, and i am thankful for that! i had one of my worst
headaches the other night and this little guy (i named
him Dash) snuggled up to me and helped me get
through a long night of intense pain. thanks Dash.

--this is the first time i have ever named a pet! all
the others were named by someone other than me.--

the first photo is of dash, the second is of the
electric studio! (newly painted by liz and ezra
who are spectacular!) this is where i will be creating
soon with lots of creative cohorts! the last 2 photos, on
a more somber note, are of a building i liked to look
at on my mission thirft store outings which was
demolished today. it said 1924 on the top, which
i am assuming is when it was built. i liked that
building a lot and always wanted to see the inside.
i am troubled by the fact that it was torn down
for a new building instead of remodeled.

saturday night special

on a new menu board for my favorite coffee shop,
Krankies. it's my first sign painting so i am
learning as i go, but i think it is going to be pretty
nice.

new car!

hooray!
i can post photos again. my computer/digital
camera situation is frustrating at times. i just
deleted hundreds of photo files to be able to upload
more. it's all too confusing for me..... but ANYWAY!
here is a photo of me in front of my new car!
since my last 2 hondas were demolished by wreckless
drivers, i decided to get something a little bigger.
i LOVE IT!

the 2nd photo is from last night's dog party/movie night.
it's not the best quality photo, but i think it captures
the happiness of the dogs.

2006

so far this year is off to a great start, thanks to suzie's
delicious lucky new year's meal! (see photo)......
i have dreamt of being part of a band for a really long
time and it's finally happened! we had our 2nd practice
last night (photos below) and it was SO wonderful!!
everyone else in the band has massive amounts of
talent and i plan to make up for my lack of talent with
massive amounts of enthusiasm!! we are going to play
at my art opening june 2nd at the seed gallery!!!!!
