happy birthday jacob!

i dont think jacob looks at this blog, but if he does... hey jacob! happy birthday! here is a photo of your beautiful wife!

these polaroids were taken on a walk through my neighborhood yesterday. it might freeze tonight and damage all the beautiful bloosoms. hopefully some will tough it out.

this morning i attended the sunrise service at old salem with my dad. i hadnt been to the service since i was about 13. all i remember from that first trip was nearly being run over by a car. i guess i was half asleep because it starts at 630am and i wasnt paying much attention. it was chilly out there today but i enjoyed hearing the band and seeing the sun rise over the graveyard. old salem is a great place.

i tried sleeping a couple of hours after that and then went to my grandma's in greensboro. we went to k&w and then i dug up lots of beautiful flowers from her yard to plant in my yard. i got some iris, some star shaped flower, and hyancinth-i think. then some friends came over for dinner. spinach lasagna-yum.
