andrew is going to graduate school on the

west coast. we had a party saturday to

im designing the postcard for an art show by these three guys. this is the design so far. any suggestions of a name for their art show? just throwing it out there. im horrible with words!

dogwoods in bloom

suzie and i have made a habit of going for walks

through my neighborhood every weekend. it's

very interesting to see how the trees and flowers

change from week to week. we have been walking

down a new alley every week. there are alleys

through my whole neighborhood. it's so neat. we

saw a lot of chained up dogs. the dogwoods were

especially beautiful this sunday. thank goodness

for all the rain we have been getting here.

my friend matthew found toby

in a park when i was in school

at unc charlotte many years ago.

when i returned to w-s in 1997

toby moved in to my dad's house.

he loved my dad a lot and followed

him around like a shadow. toby

passed away a week ago and it

was very sad. he was such a happy

sweet dog. i will miss him.
